Ben & Jerry’s Renames Flavor In Support of Gay Marriage
The deliciously activist ice-cream duo, Ben and Jerry, have done it again: renaming their apple pie flavor to “Apple-y Ever After,” in support of a potential vote by the British legislature to legalize gay marriage. The new package features two groomsmen atop a cake.
Ben and Jerry’s also launched an app that allows two same sex individuals to “marry” one another and post a picture on the UK Facebook page.
I urge all gay people to discard low-carb diets and gorge on Ben & Jerry’s in thanks for their support of gay marriage. Best excuse EVER.

The popular ice-cream company has a history of tasty activism, and most recently came out against political Super-PACS, partnering with comedian Stephen Colbert (they even gave away Colbert’s flavor, “AmeriCone Dream” last February).
