Dead Cat Helicopter, Sean Parker’s Airtime, and Crazy Zombie Prank: Like or Dislike

Quddus, host of the ABC show Duets, and Janina Gavankar, True Blood and The League star, joined Shira and this week’s social media correspondent Craig Frank to debate with Shira the craziest, most controversial stories of the week. Do they like or dislike?

I guess some people REALLY love their pets. When Dutch artist Bart Jensen’s beloved cat Orville got hit by a car, he decided to have Orville stuffed and turn him into a remote control helicopter. People have had a lot of different opinions about this, including Quddus, “That’s creepy as hell! That’s the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen!”

Sean Parker, the co-founder of Napster, has decided to take video chatting to the next level with Airtime. Airtime is a video chatting service based on people’s common interests and social connections. While it all sounds great, Janina actually dislikes it, “Well, I dislike it personally because it only works with Facebook…but the problem is that it doesn’t integrate with your Facebook fan page, your public page. Seans and Sean launched it yesterday with a bunch of celebrities, but the irony is that…it none of those (stars) actually had (Airtime) integrated on their Facebook pages!”

Pranks CAN be great, but the Miami Zombie Prank may have gone too far. This video has gone viral, but it certainly freaked out residents. Quddus said he wouldn’t have been afraid, “I wouldn’t have been afraid of the dude. He doesn’t look athletic in the least. I could outrun him easily.”
