Fans Recreate Famous Bike Ride for ‘E.T.’ 30th Anniversary (VIDEO)



On June 11, 1982 Steven Spielberg’s classic film, E.T. the Extra TerrestrialĀ was released in theaters, solidifying Reese’s Pieces, tiny brown aliens, and red-hooded bike rides as cinematic icons.

In celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary last week, young fans attended a free outdoor screening and organized a recreation of theĀ famous bike ride scene through the streets of Los Angeles.

It’s looking a little cult-ish, but the charm is undeniable.
