Nora Ephron Mourned on Twitter Through Quotes and Films



Nora Ephron, the beloved and inspring journalist, screenwriter, novelist, and director, passed away on Tuesday, June 26 at age 71 due to complications from leukemia.

Known for such acclaimed films as When Harry Met Sally…, Sleepless in SeattleYou’ve Got Mail, and Julie & Julia, Ephron made a name for herself as one of the most prolific and commercially successful writers in Hollywood and pop culture.

Those whose lives she touched through her work took to Twitter to celebrate the life and mourn the loss of the great artist and personality. “Nora Ephron” has been trending on the social network since the news of her death hit the Internet last evening, with “When Harry Met Sally” popping up in the trends as well.
