Sequel To “Finding Nemo” Coming, Andrew Stanton To Direct Film
Director Andrew Stanton will be directing a sequel for Pixar’s 2003′s critical and commercial success “Finding Nemo,” The Hollywood Reporter said on Monday. Stanton is best know for directing this year’s mega-flop “John Carter,” and Victoria Strouse is said to be crafting the screenplay for the new “Nemo” film. Stanton co-directed the first “Nemo” and Pixar is said to be scheduling a 2016 release for the sequel; they are currently developing a another Pixar sequel for “Monster’s Inc.”
The response on Twitter for the announcement was mostly positive, although many questioned how in the world it was possible for Marlin, Nemo’s dad, to lose his son yet again. Here’s a collection of some of the more witty tweets.
