Dalmatian Mother Adopts Abandoned Spotted Lamb (VIDEO)

This Associated Press video reports that a spotted lamb that was abandoned by its family for being different was later adopted by a mother Dalmatian dog on a farm in South Australia’s Barossa Valley.

John Bolton, the lamb’s owner, said of the Dalmation, “She’s in season at the moment…and sort of feeling that mothering instinct at the time when this lamb was there…it just seemed to be quite a natural thing for her to pick this up and have something to mother.”

Now, to just pick a name. Sheepmation? Dalmasheep?
