What Happened To That London Bridge That Fell Down? (VIDEO)
London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down. London Bridge is falling down and was rebuilt in Arizona.
Truth. According to Minute Physics, in the early 1800s when the 600-year-old London Bridge was hanging on by a thread, it was replaced with a brand spanking new bridge in 1831, but that one only lasted 130 years before it started sinking dangerously into the River Thames.
So, what happened to that London Bridge? And how did it end up over Lake Havasu in the middle of the Arizona desert? Watch above to find out! (For those My Drunk Kitchen fanatics, listen up for the vocal stylings of Hannah Hart.)
While YouTube channel MinutePhysics normally provides energetic and entertaining views of physics problems in under a minute, sometimes they branch out to history lessons as well — with videos that go past one minute!
But this is only a small taste of YouTube’s Team Champions of Light – Creators Invade London project, in which top YouTube stars create Olympics-themed videos each week.
