Olympic Weightlifting Attempt Gone Very, Very Wrong (VIDEO)

South Korean weightlifter Sa Jae-Hyouk headed to the 2012 Olympic Games in London to defend his reigning championship title in the men’s 77-kilogram lift. But things — namely, his arm — took an unfortunate turn for the worst during the event.

It was reported that Sa dislocated his elbow while attempting to clear a roughly 357 lb weight over his head, after which time the athlete received medical attention and China’s Lu Xiaojun proceeded to win the event and even set an Olympic record.

While the pretty nasty video has already been seen by over 2 million people in 2 days, if you’re squeamish, it’s best to press play at your own risk.
