How to Play ‘The Price Is Right Right’ While Tripping on Shrooms
Back in May, YouTuber Joshandrosky posted this previously aired footage of himself on “The Price Is Right “– in which he’s tripping on mushrooms and identifying himself as a “skateboard rabbi.”
Only recently, the video received a resurgence after Josh’s cousin Jordan posted it to Reddit. The man himself, or “Big Poppa” — as his hat claims — emerged on Reddit and offered a little background on the event:
“I’m a comedian, and I was there with 20 other comics for our friend Tess’s 30th birthday. We started the day at 9:00am with an Easter Drug Hunt (WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE), drank copious amounts of dark liquor and canned champagne and then went to the studio in a white escalade limo…”
He also shared how his favorite moment was cut from TV: When Drew asked how he incorporates skateboards into Judaism (you know, since he’s a professional skateboard rabbi and all), Joshua did some improv and said, “Well, Drew. We go to local high schools and try to turn Religious Extremism into Religious X-TREMEism!” and then I think I did an air guitar solo.” And that apparently shut Drew up.
Joshua also clarifies that the Dolly Parton shirt is not ironic, but is rather an homage to the first time he took mushrooms in public at a Dolly Parton concert and cried his eyes out.
And for the record, he’s definitely not a rabbi — “just another Jewish comedian with glasses and a beard.”
