Armless Guitarist Performs With Musical Heroes, The Goo Goo Dolls (VIDEO)

Amazing armless guitarist, George Dennehy, became a YouTube music sensation earlier this summer after the Internet passed around a viral video of the 18-year-old performing a beautiful cover of “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls and accompanying himself on guitar using only his feet.

Dennehy’s story and stamina inspired artists and viewers throughout the world. Among them were some of his own heroes, the Goo Goo Dolls, who invited George to join them as a special guest performer during their Musikfest set.

On August 7, in Bethlehem, PA, after George opened for the band with two songs of his own, he received a standing ovation from the 7,000 person crowd. Later on, he returned to the stage for a surprise performance of “Iris” with the Goo Goo Dolls.
