Chilling, Serene Video From Top of World Trade Center Two Days Before 9/11

 In January 2011, YouTuber wmmsbo uploaded the above footage taken from inside the top of the World Trade Center on September 9, 2011, just two days before tragedy would strike at the location that would soon come to be known as Ground Zero.

The uploader wrote, “We were in NYC for the MTV Music awards, and the Michael Jackson TV special (at MSG). We left a couple hours after this was shot on 9/9/2001. Scary to think that less than 48 hours later- this wasn’t there anymore, and all of our lives changed.”

Today, 11 years after the events of 9/11/01, we send our thoughts and prayers to those who lost their lives and we never forget how an event that was supposed to tear America apart still brings us together in times of need.
