Did a Seagull Really Film This Gorgeous San Francisco Sunset?

According to YouTuber , the soaring view in the video above is not attributed to a hanglider, but rather a pesky seagull that stole her GoPro camera and flew over the water in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. In the caption, the lucky tourist expressed her amazement at how “the camera incredibly managed to survive, recording everything!”

Sold to her viewers as “A flying video from a seagull’s mouth! A San Francisco sunset I will hardly forget…,”  the video, which presents an iconic Californian landmark from a unique POV, has been flying around the Internet this week and catching the attention of news channels.

While some commenters are quick to yell, “fake!” we’ll give Nathalie the benefit of the doubt for now. Whether it’s a marketing scheme for GoPro or just a very spontaneous stroke of luck, a viral video is a viral video.
