‘The Lord of the Rings’ Voice Actor Andy Serkis Reads ‘The Hobbit’ As Gollum
The Showbiz 411 program on British TV channel itn was on the scene at the Fullham Palace Gardens in London this past week as fans gathered to celebrate 75 years of J.R.R. Tolkien’s cult classic book, The Hobbit.
Representing the international success of the The Lord of the Rings films (based on Tolkien’s sequel stories to The Hobbit), actor Andy Serkis read a passage from the first book in the voice of his iconic character, Gollum.
Serkis will also be providing the voice for the creepy character in the upcoming Hobbit film trilogy, which launches in theaters December 14.
