Watch The Criterion Collection of 600+ Films in Under 2.5 Minutes
Need to brush up on the classics or add some quality substance to that film-lovers wish list? YouTuber Jonathan Keogh is here to help with his new video, “The Criterion Collection in 2.5 Minutes (or Dance of the Criterion Collection).”
This rapid-fire project compiles 600+ clips from the 600+ films that make up the The Criterion Collection — as of September 1st, 2012. Presented in numerical order by Spine number, the list begins with Jean Renoir’s Grand Illusion and concludes with the recently announced release of Michael Cimino’s Heaven’s Gate.
The uploader wrote in the caption, “This is to honor the diligent efforts of the Criterion Collection, who have devoted decades to restoring, preserving and exposing some of the greatest cinema the world has to offer.”
Brilliant, nauseating, or both?
