Cody Simpson Performs “Wish U Were Here” and Answers Fan Questions

Aussie music star Cody Simpson joined What’s Trending for the second time live to chat with fans and perform his latest single “Wish U Were Here” from his debut studio album “Paradise.”

He’s also a huge part of Justin Bieber’s Believe Tour, opening up for the pop star across the country. He describes the fans on the tour as “awesome”, but in between performances the hustle doesn’t stop. He’s busy promoting his new album and single — and don’t forget that he’s still high school! Simpson shared that he will be heading back into the studio soon for his next album.

While we had him in the studio, he was quick to answer live fan questions that came in from around the world, along with some impromptu ones from yours truly.

What are his hobbies? Surfing and singing.

Ideal first date? Hitting the beach and teaching his lucky lady some surf tricks.

What does he think of Justin Bieber pranking him recently on stage? “I would have liked to be forewarned but it’s all fun at the end of the day. I’m pretty chill and laid back.”

Cody – you’ve got the best fans and you’re welcome back here anytime!
