“CSI” Creator Anthony Zuiker Talks “Cybergeddon” Yahoo! Series

Anthony Zuiker may have created the venerable “CSI” franchise, but he says that we’re way past forensics now. It’s all about cybercrime.

His new Yahoo! series “Cybergeddon” emerges onto the scene with a large scale budget, numerous big-name sponsors and even a companion app that helps viewers get immersed in the high-tech world of the show.

“The future is so much fun,” Anthony says. “I think the movie theater and the TV will be a luxury, but the norm to consume content will all be on devices.”

Anthony also has high praise for innovative YouTubers who have dragged him out of Hollywood and into the depths of online creation. “I love that content,” he says. “I try to do that every day on ‘Cybergeddon.’ And they’ve inspired me.”
