Despite Tina Fey’s oft-quoted line from Mean Girls: “Halloween is the one night a year when a girl can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it,” the Emotistyle ladies Shamikah and Molly certainly have something to say (read: sing) about it.

They’re just here to reassure girls who are looking to get dressed up and have a good time that they can choose use their heads and not their tits. Basically, the wittiness and “wow” factor of an awesome costume shouldn’t be based on how much skin is showing.

“You can just be a nurse. You don’t have to be a sexy nurse,” they croon. “You can just be a nun. You don’t have to be a skanky nun.”

Also, if Project Runway style guru Tim Gunn (or his amazing impersonator Mark Douglas) reinforces the fashion tip, it’s definitely one to strongly consider.
