“Beauty and the Beast” Meets Star Wars Musical Parody

The Internet has been having a lot of fun with the recent announcement that Disney purchased Lucasfilms – the production company responsible for the Star Wars franchise.

Here to put their twist on the news is YouTube’s Comediva channel, which launched the above musical parody of “Beauty and the Beast” opening tune, “Little Town.” Standing in for Belle is Star Wars’ iconic Princess Leia, portrayed by Marisha Ray. The video also stars familiar faces from YouTube’s GlobalMaxVideo, mattytheglue, koshadelhi, cherrybombcomedy, and more.

From the looks of things, this pop culture fusion might not run so smoothly. Both Leia and the Disney princesses seem to be confused about each other’s attire and behavior. And Mickey Mouse? Well, he just looks like an ugly Ewok.
