Deck The Malls: Tampa Police Music Video For Holiday Crime Prevention
Tampa Police Media Relations is getting funky with its methods of preventing crime during the holiday season. In an attempt to create some shareworthy content, the department produced a parody music video of the Christmas classic, “Deck the Halls,” with officers patrolling shopping centers and busy parking lots using all manners of showy and discreet transportation.
As a part of Operation “Jingle Bell ROC” – in effect through New Years Day – “Deck The Malls” is designed to stop the common holiday crimes, car burglaries, car thefts and shoplifting and highlight safety tips for bustling holiday shoppers.
Then again, there’s always Cyber Monday, when you can charge all those discounted gifts without ever having to leave the comfort of your house or pajamas.
