Ana Navarro Becomes Internet Hero for Standing Up to Trump Surrogate

Last we heard, Trump was busy getting caught in yet another scandal. This one, however, has caused one CNN commentator to go viral.

If you haven’t already heard or seen the video obtained by the Washington Post, Trump was caught having a lewd conversation with Billy Bush in a recording from 2005.

The recording has become a hot topic of discussion due to the unsettling and inappropriate comments Trump made about women. Though none of what he said is really worth repeating, CNN commentator Ana Navarro had much to say about Trump’s comments during a CNN panel.

In the midst of discussing Trump’s comments, Trump surrogate Scottie Hughes and Navarro had one fiery exchange. Hughes, feeling offended by Navarro’s language, asked that Navarro be cautious of what she said because her “daughter [was] listening.”

In the clip, you can hear Navarro exclaim: “You know what, Scottie? Don’t tell me you’re offended when I say ‘p***y’ but you’re not offended when Donald Trump says it. I’m not running for president – he is.”

Judging from the exchange, Hughes’ complaint was not the best idea. Navarro fired back in the best way possible and has since had social media praising her response.

Navarro even took to Twitter to highlight the facial expressions of the Trump supporters on the panel. From the looks of it, Navarro was clearly the only one who came to play.

Unfortunately, Don Lemon, host of CNN Tonight, had to excuse Navarro from the panel, but there were no hard feelings.
