It’s almost Thanksgiving, which means it’s also almost Black Friday! Who’s ready to go find the best deals on Christmas presents!

If you felt excited and nodded your head just now, congratulations - you’ve been successfully brainwashed by our soulless corporate culture.

Cracked.com’s latest “Honest Ad” is all about the busiest and most hectic shopping day of the year - so not only will you feel stressed out about it, you’ll also feel like a complete idiot.

“Black Friday’s a day invented by us, the people who sell things, to lure you, the humans who buy them, away from your families on one of the only nationally recognized holiday weekends of the entire year by enticing you with marginal discounts on products that you can buy literally any time you want on the internet, probably for an even better discount!” our host says in a single sentence that clocks in at 63 words.

I can’t wait until next month when they make a video that utterly and brutally ruins the legend of Santa Claus, so I can show it to small children.
