If you’ve noticed lots of women complimenting each other on social media lately, you have YouTube superstar Lilly Singh aka IISuperwomanII to thank – she’s launched a new challenge to the more than six million girls that regularly watch her channel.

“This holiday season I decided to use that reach and speak up against an issue I’d love to see go away, and that’s girl-on-girl hate,” she says in her latest video.

With the help of her girlfriends – including Colleen Ballinger, Gabby from The Gabby Show, Lindsey Stirling, the Holy Trinity of Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart and Mamrie Hart, Kandee Johnson and many more of the top women on YouTube – Singh is challenging girls around the world to build each other up instead of fighting with each other.

“The sad reality is that girl-on-girl hate is such a big issue, in schools, at work or online,” she says. “It never made any sense to me, because as women, we know how awesome other women can be.”

She encourages girls and women to pay compliments to other women who support and inspire them, using the #GirlLove hashtag across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. “Together we can show the world how lame girl-on-girl hate is, and how awesome it is to support one another and build women up.”

Every dollar made from the views of her #GirlLove video will be donated to the Malala Fund, meaning the more times the video is shared, the more girls around the world will benefit.

It looks like people are listening up, because the #GirlLove has been pouring in all day:
