  • Nobody can do an a cappella arrangement like Pentatonix – and it looks like the judges of the Grammy Awards agree, giving the band back-to-back wins for Best Arrangement.

In the early awards – the ones not quite big enough to be presented at tonight’s ceremony – Pentatonix won for “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” from their “That’s Christmas to Me” album. This is the same award they won last year for their a cappella medley “Daft Punk,” off their “PTX, Vol. II” album.

Sure, it’s just after Valentine’s Day, but their version of the Christmas classic is definitely worth another listen. Personally I’ve always found this piece creepy, and even more so in Pentatonix’s video, but that is one impressively intricate rendition.

  • The band couldn’t accept the award in person because they were in rehearsals, but they posted this overjoyed reaction to Twitter:

  • Huge congrats from all of us at What’s Trending – they completely deserve it.
