Everything Is Wrong With ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

CinemaSins is a YouTube channel that focuses on faults with movies. They somehow found faults within Finding Nemo. Now, they’re taking on a truly fault-worthy film: X-Men: Apocalypse.

There are a lot of faults to be found within the film. For instance, Storm wanting to be like Mystique despite them having entirely different power sets. Another is how the earthquake that Apocalypse causes is felt in Germany (starting from Egypt) and doesn’t somehow ruin the planet. Another is how all the characters have somehow not aged.

The above are some truly massive plot holes. But a lot of the video is also nitpicking. Still, that’s the style of commentary CinemaSins has become known for — their attention to detail about little, annoying things helps us all become more attentive viewers. They do find plenty to take issue with however, because again, this film truly is apocalyptic.
