That's the face of one determined turkey. (You can tell it's determined because it has serious eyebrows.) We haven't seen this kind of determination in a movie trailer since… well, last week, when the Kong: Skull Island trailer featured a deadly serious John C. Reilly wielding a katana.
The turkey stars in Ryan "Nigahiga" Higa's latest installment of his series, "Things That Ruin Thanksgiving." The first and second editions of the series, from 2011 and 2014, respectively, featured a bunch of short sketch vignettes that, true to the title, are about ways people can ruin Thanksgiving.
The third installment ditches all that and goes above and beyond. This time, Higa and his team have put together an epic fake trailer for a film that unfortunately doesn't exist, despite our best efforts to will it into being.
Here's the original video from the Nigahiga channel on YouTube:
Quality stuff, as always. In the words of YouTube commenter Lindsay Drake, "What did YouTube do to deserve Ryan Higa?"
Still not convinced you should check out the trailer? Here are a few things you can expect to see in it:
—A turkey attaching angry eyebrows to its face
—Butter knife katana
—Canned corn-related murder
—"TAKE ME INSTEAD!"
—A boot dramatically stepping on a leaf
—A man hiding inside a refrigerator
—And much more!
Sweet. Sweet like a 20 pound gummy turkey.
