Toddler Plays with Baby Gorilla at Columbus Zoo

This moment between a little boy and a playful baby gorilla should bring a smile to your face.

A toddler at Columbus Zoo noticed a baby gorilla about the same size he was, sitting alone by the glass. When his dad pointed out “It’s a little boy like you!” he went up to investigate and waved at him. Then the gorilla started running back and forth with the boy, playing hide-and-seek with him behind a pillar.

It’s remarkable how similar the boy and the gorilla are when they play – the game of hide-and-seek was the gorilla’s idea. It makes you wish the gorilla had companions to play with and more room to play in.
