Few things are more appealing to the internet than the story of a cute little sloth that needed human friends to come to the rescue after he got trapped next to a busy road.
The animal was trying to cross a road in Ecuador when he became confused by the traffic and realized he was in danger. So he did what any sensible sloth would do – cling to the first solid object for dear life, in this case the traffic barrier, and wait for help to arrive.

Fortunately the local transport authority found him and helped him across to the other side. He was checked out by a veterinarian, who found him to be in good condition.
