2 years ago, Jose fell on hard times in Columbus, Wisconsin and sadly had to have a friend look after his dog Chaos for the better part of three months.
When Jose was finally back on his feet and able to take Chaos home, his friend refused to return the dog (some friend). Jose was heartbroken, and was without his best friend for roughly 2 years.
That is until a Winnebago County Services found Chaos in her driveway and matched him to the microchip in the dog.
“I was speechless and I couldn’t stop smiling. I just couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t get to the shelter fast enough,” Jose said,”I couldn’t wait for it to open so I could see Chaos! I left at 8 am today and had an hour and a half drive, so I was very anxious!”
“I haven’t been happier! This has taken a huge weight off of my shoulders and has made my entire week! Thank you so much to all of your staff for all you do. I will always appreciate you!”
Jose was finally reunited with Chaos, who although cautious at first was ecstatic to be together with his owner again.
