  • Imagine being a little kid who really loves animals, and then learning for the first time that animals are dying because grown-ups who should know better are destroying the environment.

That’s what happened to little Henry Hall one day at school, and he was absolutely beside himself.

“The planet is going to be wrecked!” he sobbed. “People are just being rude to it!”

The poor kid was horrified to learn that people are chopping down forests to build roads and parking lots, and covering the Earth with garbage that kills animals because they mistake it for food.

“They need to think about what they are doing, what they are doing to the planet and what they are doing to animals!” Henry said, while his baby brother wailed in sympathy from the back seat. “They are being so bad! I could just call them dumb people! Or even a bad word, the ’S’ word!”

He was so upset that he swore to try to fight the polluters off when he’s a grownup. “I’m just gonna yell at them! Actually no … I have a better idea, yell in their ear!”

Even his mom’s suggestion that he make posters or find some other way for kids to help wasn’t enough to comfort him. “I wish I was an adult right now. I just want to do my job, right now!” Henry says, breaking into fresh tears. “Oh my gosh, baby animals! Oh my gosh!”

Dear lord, would somebody please help this child organize a school recycling campaign or something before my heart shatters into a million pieces? YOU MADE HENRY CRY, DUMB POLLUTERS, I HOPE YOU’RE HAPPY.

Of course, his mother Allie Hall recognizes adorable viral gold when she sees it and posted the video to Facebook. She then straight-up asked Ellen DeGeneres to have Henry on her show, because why wouldn’t you at this point? And the video is approaching 17,000 shares and 10 million views, so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Ellen takes them up on it.
