Renaissance YouTuber Toby Turner has always wanted to create a mobile game based on his wildly popular “Tobuscus Adventures” animated series, featuring “wizards, zombies, innovative spellcasting and animated cut-scenes!” And now he’s going to make it happen, but he needs your help!

Along with the brand new episode above, Toby recently launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise money that will go towards the production of this game and even future games.

In Improv Everywhere‘s latest Manhattan-based stunt, the masters of spontaneity converted a subway car into a late night talk show set. CollegeHumor‘s Pat Cassels acted as host, interviewing random subway goers as bandleader Evan Gregory of YouTube’s famous Gregory Brothers provided the accompaniment.

Oklahoma was hit with a deadly, 2-mile wide tornado on Monday, flattening neighborhoods, destroying two elementary schools, and killing what is feared to be over 90 people, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Raw footage of the tornado’s treacherous journey through the town of Moore has been hitting YouTube, along with this chilling video of what one family saw when they emerged from their storm cellar after the tornado had passed.

A massive tornado swept through Oklahoma City on Monday, killing at least 51 people and filling hospitals with injured residents, according to USA Today. Along with several flattened neighborhoods, Briarwood Elementary School in Oklahoma City and Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore were torn up by 200mph winds.

Shawnee, Oklahoma felt the wrath of the tornado over the weekend, with at least one deaths reported on Sunday.

A spokeswoman for the mayor’s office in Moore told The New York Times, “Please send us your prayers,” noting that emergency workers were still clearing through the rubble and trying to assess the damage of the storm.

Earlier this month, YouTube introduced its paid subscription service, offering a new selection of channels that viewers must pay to view. The pilot program includes 54 paid subscription channels, with participation from big name companies like National Geographic, Magnolia Pictures, and UFC.

While some will charge for live content rather than on-demand programming, all channels include 14-day free trials, following up with subscription fees that start from $0.99 a month and may include discounted yearly rates.

With this new online pay model that extends outside of ad revenue and YouTube’s partner program, Google is positioning its video streaming service to compete with other pay-per-view platforms, such as Amazon, Netflix, and Hulu. But will viewers who are used to free content be willing to shell out some dollars for these videos?

While YouTube will continue adding new channels to its paid subscription service, we’re taking a look at 10 channels that are really catching our attention.

1. UFC Select - $5.99/month

Sports programming is responsible for bringing in massive viewership and advertisers on television. UFC is hoping that this enthusiasm can transfer over to the online space, offering event replays, classic fights, and full episodes of UFC favorites such as “UFC Unleashed,” “The Best of Pride Fighting Championships” and the reality show “The Ultimate Fighter.” Perhaps more providers of sports content will look to have a similar YouTube hub in the future.

2. Jim Henson Family TV - $2.99/month or $24.99/year

A YouTube destination for kids and family entertainment, brought to you by the company responsible for The Muppets? Sure! Jim Henson TV features full episodes of hit shows like “The Science Kid,” “Fraggle Rock,” and “Pajanimals.” The channel also offers themed playlists, music videos and parenting tips. A partner channel offers similar content in Spanish.

Now, TYT Plus offers behind the scenes footage, personal stories, bloopers and more exclusive content. This is our first look at an established YouTube channel that branches out to use the subscription service to offer viewers surplus cotent. Other channels may use this method in the future to provide for a new way to engage their audiences and bring in some more revenue.

4. National Geographic Kids - $3.99/month or $29.99/year

National Geographic already has a massively popular YouTube channel. So, in order to dip a toe into the subscription realm, they created a channel geared towards kids, “where curious kids can explore their world with videos full of amazing animals, surprising adventures and fascinating facts.” The interesting thing about these channels for young viewers is that the people watching may not be the same people who are paying. Will kids ask their parents to subscribe? Will parents subscribe with the intent of encouraging their kids to watch? Will it be a family activity?

5. Laugh Factory VIP - $0.99/month or $10.99/year

Famous comedy club chain, The Laugh Factory, responds to requests for lengthier and ad-free comedy content with a channel that offers “premium stand-up comedy videos and full-length comedy shows to complement the large selection of comedy clips on our free YouTube channel.” YouTube loves funny. Comedy establishments would be wise to try out different ways to expose their talent online.

6. Digital Theater - $4.99/month

Digital Theatre partnered with Britain’s leading theatre companies to film some of their best live performances in HD. While this content is usually only accessible on a public broadcast network or special screenings in theaters, subscribers can now view these stage plays from the comfort of their own homes and directly on their computers.

7. Docurama - $2.99/month

Movie on-demand channels attempt to give Amazon, Netflix, and Hulu a run for their money by offering high quality films to online viewers. Docurama features award-winning documentaries and independent films, straight from the Sundance, Toronto, and SXSW film festivals.

8. Big Think Mentor - $2.99/month or $19.99/year

So, it’s not Epic Rap Battles of History, but it’s still rap battles on YouTube! The Rap Battle Network highlights the hottest battles from rap culture around the globe. hottest battles from around the world. We’re bringing you the realest from the battle rap culture across the globe.

YouTube kicked off its first ever Comedy Week on May 19 with a gigantic live show, produced by JASH comedy network and featuring major YouTubers and comedians skilled at tickling your funny bone.

The red carpet (a.k.a. Show Before The Show) was led by SNL alum and star of buh‘s new series, ”Catherine,” Jenny Slate, arguably the perfect man, Kassem G, and comic icon, Norm Macdonald. That whole shebang mostly featured the excitement of Jenny’s hand getting cut to due a botched magic trick from Justin Willman, Norm being incessantly heckled about wearing sweatpants, and Grace Helbig conducting interviews with the night’s performers.

Now, onto the show!

Your friendly neighborhood Sarah Silverman opened the event with a warning that this is the Internet, and we will see how far we can go without consequences. Then, she proceeded to kill a production assistant and stab movie star/non-YouTuber Seth Rogen.

The evening featured live renditions of songs and performances that we’re only used to seeing on-demand, such as The Lonely Island’s “Spring Break” (AND “I’m On A Boat” with T-Pain!), Epic Rap Battles of History: Mozart vs. Skrillex (featuring the real Skrillex!), Toby Turner‘s “Dramatic Song,” The Fine Brothers‘ “Spoilers in 60 Seconds,” and The Key of Awesome‘s musical brillance.

Other highlights include:

-Who is cuter: Lil’ Bub or Jack McBrayer? “The Workaholics” attempt to find out.
-Jeff Ross roasts Harley Morenstein of Epic Meal Time and Morestein gives Ross a taste of what the Sauce Boss is cooking.
-Justin Willman uses Siri as an assistant for his magic trick.
-Garfunkel & Oats perform their song, “29/31.”
-Hannibal Buress closes out the show with a performance of his “Gibberish Rap” with Ryan Philippe and Skrillex.

Throughout the evening, JASH also debuted some brand new video content, including Sarah Silverman‘s “Perfect Night” party anthem feat. will.i.am and Reggie Watts‘ “Reggie Rolled,” a shot-by-shot remake of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

The actors’ tearful accounts cover the audition process, the evolution of their characters, memories from the set, what “The Office” means to them, and the impossible act of saying goodbye to Dunder Mifflin.

“The Office” series finale airs May 16 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
