Facebook Commenters Outraged That Stephen Spielberg Would Kill a Dinosaur

Internet humorist Jay Branscomb posted this photo on Facebook earlier this week with the caption “Disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a triceratops he just slaughtered. Please share so the world can name and shame this despicable man.”

After the recent controversy over Kendall Jones, the 19-year-old Texas cheerleader posing with exotic kills, Jay Branscomb, a Facebook pundit posted an image of Steven Spielberg posing with a dead looking realistic triceratops prop from the 1993 blockbuster “Jurassic Park.”

As of the time of posting, the photo has been shared over 38,000 times and has accrued nearly 8000 comments, most of which echo the sentiment of the original caption — that of incensed outrage. But should they be taken at face value?
