St. Louis Cardinals’ catcher, Tony Cruz, took a page out of Matthew McConaughey’s handbook when he used his chest-beating chant from the movie “The Wolf Of Wall Street” for his walk-up music in the ninth inning against the Tampa Bay Rays Monday night.

The scene from the hit movie directed by Martin Scorcese features Leonardo DiCaprio and Matthew McConaughey’s character out to lunch where McConaughey gives an extremely powerful and raunchy speech. He then starts beating his chest and humming and asks Leo to join in.

It was a bold choice by the catcher. However, it didn’t seem to work for him, as Cruz eventually struck out.
