The Lion King Broadway Cast Goes To…The NYC Subway

Subway rides can be mind-numbingly boring. Yes, you can have your earphones plugged in or your headphones on, but that doesn’t really change the fact that you’re in an enclosed space with no where to escape to, with nothing much to do. All there really is to do, is to stare off into space…only you can’t do that…because someone is bound to think you’re staring at them which leads them to 1) feel overly uncomfortable 2) give you their best death stare 3) did I already mention the death stare bit?

So how awesome is it that the cast of Lion King on Broadway put on a little performance for these commuters?

Here’s just another reason to move to The Big Apple, folks. Every now and then…Broadway comes to you.

It’s truly the city where anything can happen.

We New Yorkers embrace it and we love this city so.
