"Mean Tweets" is among Jimmy Kimmel's most successful longest-running bits. There's something so joyful about watching movie and TV stars read nasty things about themselves written by people whom they've never met. It's the best when it seems to affect them, even for just a moment.
"Mean Tweets 8" features Gwyneth Paltrow, Lena Dunham, Gerard Butler, Ty Burrell, Bob Newhart, Britney Spears, Geena Davis, Chris Pratt, Chloe Grace Moretz, Scott Foley, Michael Chiklis, Ted Danson, John Stamos, Lisa Kudrow and Adam Sandler. (And yes, that's probably the cast of the new Valentine's Day or New Years Eve movie or whatever the hell.)
