Cecily Strong’s Sarah Koenig Impression Is Spot On in SNL ‘Serial’ Parody

Wow. I mean, down to the last detail. They captured Sarah Koenig’s soft-spoken optimism, used Nicholas Thorburn’s theme music, Santa Claus in a perfect Adnan voice, and they even took shots at the late Cristina Gutierrez.

The social phenomenon that is Serial inspired plenty of parodies, but this one wins them all. While SNL digital shorts can be hit and miss, this one is an instant classic.
