Cop Sings “Shake It Off” In Car, Makes Everyone Love Cops Again

I hate to burst everyone’s bubble, but I’m going to call bull on this Dover Police dash cam video that’s blowing up online right now. It’s just too good to be true.

Do I doubt that there are cops who actually do this? No, but I just don’t think any of them would ever be this perfectly animated while singing along. But, that’s not why I’m calling this out as the Dover Police trying to rack up some views. I’m calling it out because it looks like the police officer is driving around one parking lot, driving to a different parking lot, driving around that one, then making his way back to the first lot. Also, when he’s being a good guy and letting the pedestrian cross the street? Yeah, there’s no one on the corner as he’s driving away. Even more, when we see him actually interact with another car, he is ten times more awkward than he was when he was waving to random people on the street pretending to be caught singing along to Taylor Swift.

Maybe I’ve just been on the Internet too long and think every viral sensation is some crazy conspiracy for five seconds of fame. What do you guys think? Is this lip dub real or fake?
