Even the Sorting Hat couldn’t have foreseen that young Daniel Radcliffe would one day have a sick flow like this!

While hanging at Cameron’s Irish Pub in Half Moon Bay, California, over the weekend, Radcliffe and his girlfriend, Erin Darke, performed an impromptu karaoke version of Eminem’s signature 2000 hit, “The Real Slim Shady.” And did, by all accounts, a pretty decent job of it, even the really fast parts.

To his credit, Dan’s also kind of doing a Marshall Mathers voice and trying to copy some of Em’s actual style along with just getting the words right.

This isn’t the first time Radcliffe’s demonstrated his archival knowledge of late ’90s-early ’00s hip-hop, nor his lyrical dexterity. Back in October 2014, he wowed Jimmy Fallon and the “Tonight Show” crowd by performing Blackalicious’s “Alphabet Aerobics,” backed up by The Roots!
