This weirdly funny video resurfaced online today - a woman in a subway giggling at something on her phone triggers contagious laughter that takes over the whole car.
It's entertaining and also kind of creepy, the way people can't seem to control themselves for a good three minutes. It reminds me of that laughter epidemic in Tanzania that was rumored to affect more than 1,000 people and force 14 schools to shut down. What if that's happening here and it can also spread through YouTube and infect the whole internet? Is this how the zombie apocalypse really happens?
Also, you've got to feel bad for that guy who boards the subway and wonders why everyone is laughing at him.
Of course, it's always possible that this was just a flash mob-style prank and the woman planned all this with her friends beforehand, in which case, c'mon lady, some people just want to go home from work in peace.
