  • Game of Thrones fans and comedy nerds alike should be exceptionally pleased this weekend. Peter Dinklage a.k.a. Tyrion Lannister finally hosted SNL, and this episode might just go down in history of one of the show’s finest.

  • From Peter’s hilarious monologue featuring Bobby Moynihan as George R.R. Martin to a mafia sketch that allowed Dinklage to flex his Talking Heads muscles, he brought so much charisma and depth to the table. Not counting any chickens before they hatch, but I think it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing more of Dinklage on SNL. He killed it.

  • The most important moment of the night, though, was probably that Naked & Afraid sketch. The writers were wise to spoof the Discovery series (which is real, and which is still on the air, BTW) with Peter Dinklage and Leslie Jones, but a more apt title might have been Naked & Annoyed. Leslie Jones arrives naked in the wilderness with nothing but a bottle of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, and Peter Dinklage has to deal with her antics for 21 straight naked days.

  • The duo had so much chemistry, it’ll be a wonder if we don’t have a Jones/Dinklage buddy comedy out next summer. I’m sure the pair could inject actual new life into the Rush Hour franchise. That’s a free idea, by the way. Go forth, Hollywood, and provide us with literally anything better than this garbage.

TL;DR – Dinklage rules, space pants are cool, and Leslie Jones needs to be in everything.
