Apple has its share of die-hard fans. And why not? Its products are (usually) quality, (sometimes) secure, and (never) durable.
While everyone is getting hyped up for the iPhone 7, announced this week, some people just can’t wait to get their hands on it. That’s where Daniel from Blck Shp Productions comes in.
On September 6th — the day before the iPhone 7 was officially announced — Blck Shp Productions uploaded a video titled “iPhone 7 LEAKED, unboxing and review.” Don’t get your hopes up, though — 30 seconds in, we learn what’s really going on in this video. I won’t spoil the joke, but it keeps getting funnier throughout this video’s 3:45 runtime.
There are plenty of other fake iPhone 7 reviews floating around the internet. Popular channel TechSmartt has one with over a quarter of a million views. But Blck Shp’s video is easily the funniest I’ve seen so far. It’s got that right mix of rock-stupid comedy with actual cleverness that tickles my funny bone.
The video’s viewers, though, don’t seem to get the joke. It has a negative like-to-dislike video, likely from people stumbling on the video expecting an actual review. And commenter Portugal Rail was quick to point out that “this is a iPhone 6 not iPhone 7!” Let’s see what we can do to get this video the love it deserves.
