  • SNL arguably just had its best season premiere in a long time thanks to Alec Baldwin. The Internet has recently been having a field day with their reactions to the first presidential debate, but SNL definitely took the cake with their response.

Season 42 of the show opened with their version of the latest presidential debate starring well-deserved Emmy winner Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton and Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump. All politics aside, everyone who has seen this skit can agree that Baldwin is the best Trump impersonator we didn't even know we needed.

Fans all over Twitter were raving about Baldwin, even expressing that this was the best the show had been in years.

  • Not only was McKinnon spot on with her "Clinton-shimmy" and Miss Universe jokes, Baldwin was sure to make the sketch that much better with Trump's now infamous sniffing.

  • There is no denying that Baldwin made this sketch 1000x better with his spot-on impersonation. Have you seen the debate yet? Let us know what you thought in the comments below or @WhatsTrending on Twitter!
