Sam Adams Introduces Helium-Infused Beer

Jim Koch, the founder and part owner of Samuel Adams Brewery took part in this wacky April Fools Day fake beer commercial. He jokingly promotes their newest beer, “HeliYUM.”

He takes a sip and begins to describe it, but his voice is high and strained as if he sucked in straight helium. He then explains how they have been exploring ‘Noble Gasses.’

The company’s description of the beer says it is “lightened from heavier gases like CO2, HeliYum takes advantages of the properties of helium — one of the noble gases — for a truly remarkable brew. Helium’s unique index of refraction creates brilliant clarity while providing an incredibly light mouth feel.”

If this was an actual beer it’d be a real gas!
