Normally, if you’re doing something like whale watching, I don’t recommend trying to film everything on your phone - because why risk missing out on seeing something amazing with your own eyes just to stare at a little screen?
But I’m really glad Sandy Seliga ignored that advice, because she caught incredible footage of a Humpback whale breaching the surface of the Bay of Fundy off the coast of eastern Canada. The breach was so close to the boat that the splash from the whale hitting the water sprayed the people watching.
Seliga said that whale watching was on her bucket list, and she can definitely cross this item off with a flourish. Seriously, look at this:
