It’s that time of year again. Halloween has ended and, yes, that’s right, we’ve immediately moved on to all things Christmas. Nobody even remembers Thanksgiving anymore, let alone all of the non-holidays crammed in to the nearly two solid months between trick or treating and getting sloshed on egg nog.
But, if you’re going to insist on jumping straight to Christmas, you might as well at least do it right.
And Duracell does just that with their new Star Wars-themed ad, “Battle for Christmas Morning.” Featuring better CGI than the prequels, the commercial reminds us what the power of imagination can bring to life. If you’re a kid, anyway. Adults are still stuck with reality. But hey, at least cool YouTube videos can give us the nostalgia factor of “imagination,” right?
