A week and a half after Austin Evans posted this video of the aftermath of his apartment building burning down, YouTube’s top tech reviewers came together to help out one of their own.
Linus Tech Tips, MKBHD, Techno Buffalo, Ty Moss, and many others of YouTube’s tech community joined forces to help replace some of Austin’s equipment. Lew and Jonathan from Unbox Therapy and TLD Today flew out to Chicago to surprise Austin at his parents’ home.
Along with a brand new Mac Pro, gift cards, and more; there was also a video from all who pitched in to help Austin.
Situations like these always show that when push comes to shove, the YouTube community is very much still alive. We here at What’s Trending wish Austin the best of luck, and commend him for staying so positive, even while uploading content so quickly after the accident.
