Beyonce and Destiny’s Child Bring Down the House at Super Bowl 2013 Halftime Show

  • Pop diva Beyonce delivered an explosive performance at the Super Bowl 2013 halftime show, showing off completely live (take that, Inauguration haters) renditions of her own songs, “Love on Top,” “Crazy in Love,” “End of Time,” and “Baby Boy.”

After that solo showcase, Beyonce was joined in the middle of the arena stage by her former Destiny’s Child group members, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, to perform the trio’s classic chart-toppers, “Bootylicious” and “Independent Women.”

After the gals helped bring Beyonce’s hit, “Single Ladies,” to life, the halftime show headliner finished the event on her own with a blowout performance of “Halo.” The blowout part there is literal, as minutes after Beyonce left the stage, the power was sucked out of half of the Louisiana Superdome.

We’re still not completely sure that Beyonce was to blame for the blackout, but many believe that she stole the show regardless.
