Frightening Footage of Bagram Air Field Plane Crash In Afghanistan

  • On April 29, a National Air Cargo plane crashed into the ground at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan, killing the seven crew members on board. The day after the incident, the above video surfaced on LiveLeak, providing footage of the crash from what looks to be a dashboard camera.

    As reported by The Atlantic and Associated Press, the plane was transporting vehicles to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, but information is still scarce regarding just how and why the plane crashed.

    It should be noted that, while the video has gone viral since it was uploaded – accruing over 2 million views – the time stamp dates to February 1, 2013, roughly three months before the event actually occurred.
