While we had Jack Black in the studio to chat about his new web series, “Ghost Ghirls,” we had to ask about his upcoming Festival Supreme show at the Santa Monica Pier on October 19. The first annual all-star comedy rock show is sure epic with acts like Adam Sandler, Zach Galifanakis, Sarah Silverman, Black’s own Tenacious D, and many more!
“We like to put on a big show. We wanted to join forces with all the other great comedy/music people out there. So, we invited everybody that we love. And most of them said yes,” he said. “It just seemed like something that should’ve already happened. Let’s get all the people that have funny songs together and make a festival.”
He said, “Nobody else is doing it. Nobody else is gonna do it unless we do it. So, we took it upon ourselves.”
