Before going into surgery, Joan Rivers talked to her daughter Melissa about dying. It was heartbreaking, inspiring and, of course, humorous — because after all, it’s Joan Rivers we’re talking about!
“I’ve had an amazing life, if it ended right now, it was an amazing life,” Joan says to Melissa. “If something happens, things are fine and life is fine and life is so much fun, it’s one big movie!”
The only thing that made her sad, she admitted, was that her grandson Cooper wasn’t gay. “If I die, who is going to want my show tunes collection?” Rivers joked.
