A dramatic monkey rescue this month captivated an audience in the northern Indian city of Kanpur. Individuals started filming after a monkey had been electrocuted on a railway line. His monkey friend struggled to lift him up off the railway, dragged him to safety, and dunked him repeatedly in water.
After 20 minutes or so, the electrocuted monkey appeared revived, and began showing signs of movement.
Now, in accordance with Monkey Law, the saved monkey is indebted to the hero monkey until he returns the favor, a la Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
